Do your beeswax or vegan wax wraps need a new lease of life? Don’t throw them out, let us re-wax them! Our Beeswax Wrap Re-waxing Service is the fuss free way to get another year out of your beeswax wraps.
We believe that the most sustainable beeswax wraps are the ones you already own, that’s why we’re offering our Re-waxing Service. Using our signature blend of local British beeswax wax, organic jojoba oil and pine resin, we will expertly re-wax your old, tired or well-used beeswax wraps the best way we know how – by hand, here in our Cotswolds workshop.
Upon re-waxing your wraps, we will send them back to you good as new. All you need to do is choose how many wraps you would like to send to us, create a tracked return label and pop them in the post – then we’ll take it from there!
Service only available in the UK. 2-4 week turnaround, may vary during peak times.
For FAQ’s and terms about this new service, please take a look at the product care tab.
Important: Please wash your beeswax wraps before sending them to us as, if they are not clean, we will be unable to re-wax them and will return them to you as they were received. We will only re-wax wraps we have previously sold, if you’re unsure about whether they are our designs, please email us a photo so that we can confirm. If you order other products alongside this service, please note that postage will be combined and they will be delayed and shipped with your returned wraps.
How do I know if my wraps need re-waxing?
Over time, your beeswax wraps may lose some of their ‘tack’, may feel more like cotton and not seal as well as they used to. This is natural and can happen from 6 months to a year of use (depending how often you use them) but the good news is you can extend the life of your wraps for another year by re-waxing them. If you aren’t able to do this at home or simply don’t have the time, then we can do it for you.
How do I send my wraps?
Order the quantity of wraps you would like to be re-waxed from the drop down menu. Once you’ve completed your order, you’ll be emailed instructions to create a prepaid postage label to print from home. Before you post your wraps, ensure they have been cleaned and are dry, ready for re-waxing. We sadly cannot re-wax dirty or unwashed wraps with food or product residue. Once we’ve received your wraps, we will hand wax them (good as new!) take a photo and send them back to you to use again and again.
What if my wraps have marks or stains?
As long as they are clean, they can still be re-waxed. Please note that re-waxing your wraps will not get rid of or reduce any stains or marking.
Where is my postage label?
Once you have placed your order we will email you with instructions on how to create a prepaid postage label (please check your spam folder!) Once created, you can either print this at home or, if you don’t have a printer, print it at a Post Office or Customer Service Point. If you are not able to post your wraps, you can arrange collection by Royal Mail on the confirmation page of your Tracked Return label (however there may be a small charge for this service).
How do I know if they are your wraps?
We can only re-wax wraps that we have previously sold. If you are unsure whether your beeswax wraps are one of our own designs (we have lots of discontinued designs, some over four years old!) then please email us a photo of them to email@example.com so that we can confirm.
Our rewaxing service can take 2-4 weeks from the date we receive your beeswax wraps, but this may be slightly longer during and shortly after special offers.
Once posted, UK Delivery takes 3-5 days and is sent on a Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. Royal Mail will be in touch with your tracking number. A signature is required for orders over £80.00 to ensure the safe arrival of your parcel.
All of our orders will arrive without any paperwork or invoices inside. Your invoice is part of your order confirmation email so please keep this safe.
Returns & Refunds: This service cannot be refunded once you have sent us your wraps using your prepaid postage label. If we receive unwashed wraps, then these will be returned to you in the condition they were received in and no refund will be issued.
